Today at the college where I’m based, we are holding convocation and sending our learners out into the world of work. I know I’m biased but I think my colleagues do a damn fine job of preparing learners for that world. However, it’s changing fast & we can’t ignore that.
I came across a presentation that tells the story of a new kind of worker. Despite the improper use of apostrophes (ok, so I used to be an English teacher), this is fantastic. Is this the kind of work we should prepare learners for? If it is, what do we need to change to make sure they’re ready?
Update: same topic, another great slideshow.
